In keeping with the pep-rally feel inside the Hunter College gym, a roar went up among the thousand or so show-goers when Zinédine Zidane took his seat in the front row of Y-3. The French midfielder was instantly mobbed by photographers and fans alike. Though he doesn't speak a lick of English, we asked about his style icons through a translator. It appears that FIFA World Cup's Most Oustanding Player of last year is fond of the basketball greats. "Jordan" was his one-word response to the question. But as we walked away, a friend of the great one tapped us on the shoulder and added, "Magic."

I had no idea he had a thread here. I love him, everytime I go to Europe I buy from his line of baby clothes for my son.
