Wow the piping is pretty dead on/neatly applied! I can't tell because my screen tends to show colours a bit warm, but does the fuchsia/pink lean towards slightly more blue toned than what is shown in the pics? My brother's fiancee has this bag, and it was quite slouchy after a few months of use, just like yours, so I think the leather looks good. Dark navy in some lights and black in most. x

I have come across so many good looking hermes bags on insta lately, all handstitched with waxed thread etc. But a bit pricey, prices seem to come across $1700 dollars.

I'm still on a hunt for the perfect 40 cm Birk. Have any of you got any experience to share??? It's sad to see this thread got so passive lately. We should revive it or ar all of you buying exclusively the authentic thing nowadays???

the pink does look a bit blue toned. i was worried about the dents in the bag at first but then i checked a pic of the original and it turns out it has dents as well (image from vogue.fr) i think jacky's bag is pretty good - much better than paying $5,000 plus tax for the original. i'm going to go to the hardware store and pick up a few things to make the strap a little bit longer. i saw a couple tutorials on the purse forum for doing so.

you are better off looking for a smaller size birkin. (25, 30 or 35) sellers are less likely to have the largest version.

Ah good, one of the things I love most about her Bon Marche is that wicked blueish-pink color - I've seen a few obvious reps floating around the city with a coral/hot-pink piping! Sounds like Jacky nailed this one.

I don't know how any of us could support our bag habits if it weren't for reps hahaha. Seems like the urge to own a thousand bags in every style imaginable comes in waves. Wasn't interested for the past 6 or so months but here I am. Again...
